The Moore Uni-Drill

This is a well proven machine for reviving poor condition fairways and an excellent way of introducing new grass.

• It can be used with a small 25/50 H.P tractor.
• It will follow all ground contours to give an even planting of seed at a constant depth.
• Grass seed planted at a depth of 12mm (1/2") gives excellent rooting structure-better than shallow planted seeds.
• The drill has a slitting action, it also moves the top 24mm (1") of soil thus relieving soil compaction and aerating the soil.
• The press wheels consolidate the seed and the soil to give an even germination and avoid seed waste on the surface.
• It puts the seed in direct contact with the soil.
• It has one pass operation; levelling, seeding and aeration. It is shown that even when run without seed the disc action gives beneficial root pruning. This machine can be purchased or hired. Contact our sales department for further details.
